for anyone reading this, THIS GUY IS INSANE!!! the Bard deserves constant front-page status because he is quite possibly the best metal artist on all of NG. there are no songs of his that wont either 1) awe you or 2) make you bust both ass cheeks laughing, in the case of Your Blog Is Bog. score another one for the BARD!

absolutely freaking epic beyond reason

i do second MH16's comment that it lacks a little power at :16. it almost sounded like you were using a drumset crash rather than concert crash cymbals. maybe a little more reverb on low winds and a (i dont know if i should really say this) louder bass drum. you did about the best tempo change i have heard in a long time. it caught the listener off guard and just plain sounded great. score another one for b.a.b.!

Thanks man, and I already got to addressing the drum problem. Actually, I reorchestrated the whole thing using new instruments and better soundfonts. SF2midi is probably the greatest site in the world.

Ye this is the first song I ever made. Despite the two ten ratings (counting yours), I still think this is pretty shitty. I'm planning to remix this song as my next project. I've already remixed it once, but I think I can make this general melody into a monster of a song now that I'm OVER 9000! times better than I was when I first started.

Btw, if you really want a treat, check out either Oceanic Wanderlust (WIP) or Unfettered Heroism. (even my naming skills are better than when I first started lol)

The song holds a good deal of potential, it's the samples that are holding the song back. True it's a bit repetitive in some areas, but with no real booming brass or bass strings, the effect you were trying to hit was somewhat amiss.
